WORLD DAIRY EXPO & SUMMIT/CHINA

For the sake of further popularizing and promoting technologies on machinery and engineering of dairy industry, Dairy Association of China plans to establish a sub-committee, named Committee of Dairy Machinery and Engineering, to carry out such mission. The inaugural meeting will be held during the show time of World Dairy Expo China & Summit / China’08 (Sep. 7th to 9th, Harbin). At the same time, seminars and forums will provide an excellent stage for the academic exchange.

In the end of the year 2007, the document of Opinions on Promoting the Sustainable and Healthy Development of Chinese Dairy Industry was officially issued by the State Council, which highly approved the status of the dairy industry and stressed the importance of government leadership at all levels to carry out the policy.

Right afterwards, local government took actions swiftly. With the implementation of a series of subsidies for fine breeds and farming machineries, farmers enthusiasm has been aroused, who are able to cut their cost even further and meanwhile the market space for production enterprises of farming machineries being increased.

With the favourable policies being put into effect, enterprises in dairy industry are greatly encouraged, who have been quite eager about the World Dairy Expo & Summit / China’08 to be held in Harbin during Sept., 7-9, 2008. Exhibiting space has been expanded to various extent. Dutch Pavilion has confirmed their nearly 400 square meters of space, a growth of 90% over the last year. WestfaliaSurge (Shanghai) Dairy Equipment Co. has expanded 150% and Boumatic LLC 50% than the previous year.

World Dairy Expo & Summit / China, sponsored by Dairy Association of China (DAC), is the most important event in the field of dairy in China. As usual, the 2008 Annual Member Meeting of DAC, a series of seminars, farm and factory visit will be arranged concurrently.
